A student short about a socially awkward man obsessed with figuring out how to make people like him. Its dream sequence, set in an office, starts almost commercially perfect, warm and idealised, and turns uncomfortable and uncanny as everyone's attention on him becomes overwhelming. The score has to move with the scene, from pleasant and dreamlike to strange and slightly surreal without sounding like horror straight away, until the music becomes unhinged. It is unpaid, with full credit and use of the finished scene and music in your reel, and the filmmaker will send the script, the edited scene and references.
