Professional
Sound Designer — Aristocrat
Closed Probably closed: featured more than 45 days ago with no application deadline. Featured in #013 on 31 August 2026.
The job is titled sound design and the description covers composing music, crafting sound effects and recording voiceovers. What stands out is the stylistic range: Chinese, Japanese, Caribbean, Mariachi, Middle Eastern, African, Indian, Native American, European folk, epic fantasy and vintage American 50s-60s, against a bar of five years on a professional DAW and proficiency on an instrument, ideally piano or guitar. The role is subject to mandatory background screening and regulatory approval, with fingerprinting and gaming-regulator licences possibly required depending on jurisdiction — unusual paperwork for a music job; Aristocrat also says it is unable to sponsor a work visa for this position at this time.
