Composer — Medieval melody for an 8-minute short film

The brief asks for one melody and then asks it to do two jobs: eight bars of modal German dance tune written as if it were 1500, scored first for shawm or pipe with tabor and drone, then set again under driving electronic production with the shawm playing it unchanged on top. It has to be audibly the same tune, and the filmmaker says that doubling matters structurally in the film. £200 for both arrangements is modest and the listing says so outright, but the project is self-funded, payment is on delivery, and the narration audio and a rough cut come with the job so the writing is to picture.
