Composer — Gamecube-era pet simulation game
Closed Probably closed: featured more than 45 days ago with no application deadline. Featured in #010 on 10 August 2026.
The most specific brief in this issue, and specific in the way that saves a composer guesswork: four to seven tracks across four game modes, each with a target BPM range, a one-word feel and a named instrument palette — music box, marimba, flute and soft pads for the main scene at 90–105, brass and organ for the arena at 145–155. The reference point is the Chao Garden sub-game from the Sonic Adventure series, and the developer wants that soft childlike wonder carried across every mode without it becoming a copy-paste. AI is ruled out, gameplay footage and reference tracks are offered up front, and the ask is a portfolio and a rate sheet rather than a fixed fee, so name your own number.
